Proud.

Proud.
It was the time of the week, again.
The most important moment of the week
Days had been spent preparing just for it.
Memorizing the list, letter by letter, word by word.
Making sure that everything's prepared, Ready till Perfection.
Ensuring that no mistakes would be made.
It was Spelling Day.
As a matter of fact, it was the only thing that matters.
Nothing matters more than getting a Perfect Score.
Earning that Triple Star Stamp, captioned "Excellent!".
Or Stickers in the form of Golden Stars or Cartoons.
Just like earning Sliver Wing to prove an Individual had won a War.
But in a much small ground called an Exercise Book,
A Book, slightly bigger than a palm.
With that Golden Star on the Book, holding it tightly.
Showing it around the Class, as a Proud Owner of the Star.
Someone, who had won that week's Battle, Code Name: Spelling 3.
Eventually, it all comes down to this.
It's not about showing it to the Class.
But the people who Push and Motivate: Your Parents.
They are the ones who helped in your success.
Staying up late, ensuring you learnt what was needed.
The Golden Star proved that their effort weren't wasted.
Telling them that they could be Proud of you.
However, Golden Stars will lose their meaning as time goes.
We have to achieve something better to prove ourselves.
To show our Parents that we are still working hard.
Such Demands became Unachievable, as Achievements become Limitless.
Unable to determine what should be achieved.
There will be a time where things took an angle.
The Demands no longer come from your Parents.
What you want to achieve, is for Yourself to feel Proud.
Proud, to be Yourself.
